Last week, Bluepoint Wind was out and about across #NewJersey sharing information on workforce development with local communities.

On Thursday, Fisheries Liaison Diana Glinos participated in Rutgers University’s Broader Impacts Workshop, where she highlighted Bluepoint Wind’s partnerships with a variety of local stakeholders. It was a great opportunity to connect with early-career scientists and the #Rutgers community involved in marine science and OSW modeling and to discuss ways we can carry relevant research into our work.

Later, our Director of External Affairs, Eric C. Henry, took part in a workforce development panel at the NJ Clean Energy Day in Newark. He spoke about our efforts to support the future offshore wind workforce and emerging opportunities within the industry and connected with community leaders, state-wide chambers of commerce, small businesses, and fellow OSW developers.

We look forward to more opportunities to connect with local institutions and partners to share industry information and learn about their goals as we work together towards the clean energy transition.
