Yesterday, the Bluepoint Wind team celebrated Earth Day 🌎 alongside Students 2 Science! The team sponsored a wind turbine learning module, where students used materials from KidWind Project, Inc. to design different blade designs and test the output of their turbines in a miniature wind tunnel! Students also had the opportunity to learn about careers in Offshore Wind, ranging from backgrounds in engineering, to social sciences and communications. It was inspiring to witness the creative blade designs and the power generated when students made small alterations in design and blade angles.
